Eyre is a sovereign meeting platform — secure video and collaboration where your data stays in your jurisdiction, and AI is optional, not imposed.
It’s an independent alternative to Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, built for organisations that need to keep their conversations private, compliant, and under their own control.
What “sovereign” means here #
Most mainstream platforms route your meeting data through infrastructure you don’t control, often in another country, and increasingly run AI over your conversations by default. eyre.ai is built on the opposite principle:
- Your data stays in your region. Meetings, recordings, transcripts and summaries are stored in the jurisdiction you operate in — not shipped elsewhere.
AI is optional. Every AI feature — copilot, summaries, transcription — can be switched off. You can run a fully “old-school” meeting with no AI processing your conversation at all. - Independent. Eyre isn’t built on top of a Big Tech meeting stack. It’s a standalone platform, developed from scratch.
What you can do with Eyre #
- Host encrypted video meetings, from small calls to large events (up to 50,000 participants)
- Share screens and documents
- Build and run meetings to an agenda, with a built-in teleprompter for presenters
- Record sessions, with automatic transcripts and summaries
- Manage teams with role-based access
- Run registration and events
- Use an optional AI copilot and task manager — or turn AI off entirely
- White-label the platform under your own brand
Where your meeting data lives #
eyre.ai offers regional data residency so your meeting data stays under the laws that apply to you.
Canada #
For Canadian organisations, eyre.ai is hosted in Canada, keeping participant and meeting data under Canadian jurisdiction. This supports compliance with PIPEDA (the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and the data-residency expectations of Canadian public-sector, education and healthcare bodies. Your meeting data does not need to leave the country.
Europe (EU, UK and Switzerland) #
For European organisations, eyre.ai keeps data within European jurisdiction (Germany) and is built to meet the region’s distinct privacy regimes:
- EU: the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), with data residency inside the EU.
- United Kingdom: the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, with UK data residency. (Post-Brexit, UK data protection is a separate regime from the EU’s, even though the standards are closely aligned.)
- Switzerland: the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP / revFADP), with Swiss data residency.
In each case, the goal is the same: your conversations stay governed by your own jurisdiction’s law, not exported to infrastructure abroad.
Who Eyre is for #
Organisations and individuals that can’t treat meeting data as disposable: public sector, education, healthcare, legal, financial services, and any business handling sensitive or regulated conversations — anywhere that “where is this data, and who can see it?” is a question that has to have a clear answer.
